What the hell is going on with MCA now?

Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting, is this what you want to see? We Chinese Malaysians know that you had good intention initially to let MCA lead by younger leaders so as to make the party more energetic and progressive. Your noble intention is not wrong, but you were too eager to make the change quickly and abruptly in the party without thinking the deep implications and complicated adverse effects that might follow!

Datuk Seri, sorry to say that you had made two immense mistakes:
1. Too many young leaders without grass-root supports and contributions to MCA and the nation were chosen to contest in the General Election in 2008, contributing to one of the factors of the great defeat experienced by MCA.
2. After the 308 GE, you DID NOT keep experienced and good MCA leaders like Dr. Fong Chan Onn in the cabinet. Instead, you had chosen too many inexperienced MCA leaders in the Cabinet. By looking at their performances after holding the posts, please answer this question from your inner heart: Did you ever regret?

We do not mean to say that young leaders can’t perform well, but most often than not, experiences play paramount importance, especially in the cabinet. Dr. Fong had played his role well as the Minister of Labour and he is the BEST thus far holding this post, no one is comparable to him. That ministry post is of utmost importance to Chinese community, BUT YOU HAD CHOSEN TO DROP HIM FROM THE CABINET!!! NOW, WHAT HAS HAPPENED???

It is indisputable to say that the present MCA tremor and great crisis had been caused by power struggling between the experienced leaders with strong grass-root support and the younger leaders who are too eager to fight their way up by using dirty tactics!

Datuk Seri, You may think that it is inappropriate for you to utter any comment on the present MCA plight, but are you willing to see your beloved party in such a precarious situation now? Please say something Datuk Seri!

马华大团圆了!?

马华特大成绩公布后,翁总没有在第一时间宣布辞去总会长职位，只表示交由中委会及会长理事会决定、也请了四天的假期。当他消假回来后,发觉不对劲、中委会转变了态度，已另有主子。

翁总决定不辞去总会长职位了，要再玩过！他痛心他所信任的战友背叛了他，他的海南帮也如流星消逝不见，他什直形容这些战友比蔡细历还恶毒！欲剃人头者，人亦剃之！翁总现在应该会了解蔡细历在被一些以前受他援助、提拔、大力支持他的柔佛州领袖背叛时的捶心之痛!!!

翁总觉得他被身边的亲信出卖了，也感觉到众叛亲离的兹味。翁总阅读了这么多古龙的小说，不可能不知道:你的朋友可能就是你最大的敌人！

翁总最终说出事实上并不是他要砍杀蔡细历,而是副总会长廖中莱(对不起,我等在Wednesday, October 14, 2009,

全体马华会长理事会和中委会已经被投不信任票了!!!
的文稿中认为第三项议案,使得恢复蔡细历党职提案无法在马华特大通过,不代表署理总会长之职位已出缺!蔡细历没有表明辞去党职,署理总会长之职位是否已被冻结还必须从马华党章及法律观点仔细的研究呢。社团注册局应会在近日确认蔡细历的署理总会长职位之合化性。这是不容任何一个人,包括所谓的著名时评人陈亚才、潘永强等等多加质疑的。), 周美芬,拿督魏家祥等等一直怂恿要他这样做的。

翁总啊，翁总！你大错特错了。一个首领被下属们鼓动、唆使去对抗老二，这就是你的不对了。不过，翁总终于也说出蔡细历并不难沟通。翁总，我等希望这是你真正的心底话！

我等也希望翁蔡能真正的放下一切争执、隔模及误解，重新出发，重新再结合,调整马华，为华社造福！

我等更加希望年轻的马华领袖不要想乘马华四分五裂的时机争著上位。你们还没有足够的经验、实际能力、才干、魄力跟国阵的老将争一长短！翁蔡应当会知道有若干州联委会主席是必须被换,因为他们连一州都管理不当!更希望冯镇安,黄家泉等等好领袖再次回到主流，马华才有救!!!!!

一个团队的马华，应当由有足够的经验、实际能力、才干、魄力的老、中、青的领袖组成，才是完整、完善的！

我等更不希望有任何人士质疑翁蔡的诚意。请大家不要再扰乱，也不要再发表对马华没有利益的见解了，好吗？任何想要破坏马华的人，可算是华社的公敌，应被公众人士口诛笔伐！

翁总, 需要这样做吗?

在马华党争方热，各个年轻的、不够经验、没有足够的实际能力、才干的领袖想要乘马华四分五裂的时机争著上位之际,翁总会长又再次不按牌理出怊，宣布重组马华各局，并先革除三朝元老梁邓忠的法律局主任之职位。

马华特大成绩公布后,翁总没有在第一时间马上宣布辞去总会长职位，反而表示交由中委会及会长理事会决定，已失去了公信力!一个被中央代表们投不信任票的总会长,在陷入众叛亲离的此刻选择改组马华领导层，很可能是旨在做最后的挣扎，试图透过替换受委的中委来制衡倾向副总会长廖中莱的中委们,试图牢控党机关。翁总拿梁邓忠开刀只不过是要杀鸡儆猴，让其他受委的中委不敢造次。

我等认为更多必须被翁总开刀的应当其他拥有影响力,被他委任,但是不懂感恩、没有持续支持他的总秘书王茀明,陆垠佑,李伟杰和蔡金星与及具有影响力,被他委任为州联委会主席的拿督姚再添,周美芬,拿督魏家祥等等。

可是,马华第一位被投不信任票的总会长,还有何权威可言?

翁总,领袖可来可去,上台靠机会,下台靠智慧。

人无言而不信, 人无信而不立! 唯一能重新再结合,调整马华的做法是全面大洗牌!!!

和网络之友伟翔的一顿融洽晚餐!

今天傍晚终于和认识了大约两个月的网络之友伟翔见面,一起在八打灵SS2吃一顿很融洽的晚餐。我们从七点见面, 一边吃, 一边谈到十点十五分,还不觉得疲倦!

我们谈了很多,谈马华及其他的课题,谈到我们在部络写的评论,也谈到一些人不了解我们倒翁不代表挺蔡,我们只不过是挺马华而已!我们也从不同的管道中得知蔡细历是一个很受医药职员欢迎的部长,这些医药人员都承认他是有始以来最好的卫生部长。

其实我以前不喜欢蔡细历主要的原因是在马华闹AB队时他责骂当时的署理总会长林亚礼骂的过份了,就好象那些当前马华的几位部长及副部长,在当时把总会长林良实骂的狗血淋头一样。怪的是当时的总会长和署理总会长都很有容人之量,没有下封口令、也没有任何一个党员被开除或被冻结党藉;而即使林良实是多么的不喜欢翁诗杰,翁诗杰还是被委任为副部长!!! 而翁总在得到权力后呢?

我们还约定明晚一起在Kuchai Lama吃中国厨师利用竹棍打滚制造之面粉团做的云吞面呢。很出名的,大家尽可一试。

和伟翔相识,是偶然的,也同样是一种巧合。我只不过在他的部络中留过言几次,发现我们有很多共同的见解。几次留言之后我们交换了msn的id。有一天大约是在晚上十点后,我们在msn谈天说地,因为我们思想、见解及分析力非常接近,谈的很融洽,经常会同时间在msn打出同样的辞句或者相似的见解(我们认为有一样的frequency),直谈到第二天黎明四点多才睡觉! 好玩吗?恐怖吗? 哈哈!

感谢网络的便利, 给我们一个机会认识了知心之友。

ANOTHER EGM? OH MY GOD !!!

What the hell is going on with MCA?

Since the CR had casted the vote of no confidence on MCA President, and by passing the second motion in the EGM, the Presidential Council and the CC had been indirectly casted votes of no confidence as well, then the whole CC should resign and have a fresh poll. Let the CR elect the new CC whom they feel that maybe more capable than the old rotten ones!

Moreover, the CC has NO POWER at all to elect (the word used by the present President who had been casted vote of no confidence) a new Deputy President of MCA. The Second Motion was passed in the EGM of MCA on 10.10.2009. In fact, the Third Motion carried no weight at all since less that two thirds of the CC were not in favour to reinstall Dr. Chua as the Deputy President of the party. As such, he is still the party’s Deputy President. This is yet to be confirmed with the Registrar of NGO.

Consequently, the post of MCA’s Deputy President has not been vacated and the CC is in no position to elect any of the Vice President to hold the post as the Deputy President. Dr. Chua is supposed to be back to MCA as the Deputy President! Even if the President and the CC want to have a tussle with Dr. Chua and let the Registrar of NGO to step in later, the post maybe temporarily frozen or can be temporarily acted by a Vice President. So, Liow can only be chosen by the CC to be an Acting (temporary) Deputy President and not being elected by the CC as the Deputy President. Please bear this in mind!

The President of MCA had said before many times conducting EGM is a waste of money and will split the party. When Dr. Chua’s camp was able to get enough signatures calling for the EGM, he exercised his power to call for an EGM. Now, he is calling another EGM in less than a week’s time after the EGM. EGM called by other party members is a waste of money and EGM called by the President of the party will not waste money? What the hell is this?

Resolve the whole CC and have AGM to have the party election now! There is no point to waste about RM 700 000.00 on another EGM! Please be men of principles, the President, Secretary General, Honourable Treasurer, Assistant Secretary General, all appointed CC and Sate Chairmen and Senators, quit now! Let other ethnic groups at least have some respect on Chinese, please!!!!!

I use a Chinese expression to conclude this short post:

著名的时评人潘永强于10月14日下午1点28分在当今大马发表了一篇文章: 中委不必总辞，会长必须重选。

他提出了一些国内外的例子,也对马华的党章做出注解、看法。终结他认为：中委会没有必要总辞，但总会长和署理会长则必须重新选举。

我等认为潘永强的论点有很多值得商权之处。

马华会长理事会接纳纪律小组建议开除蔡细历后,被中委会及马华特大两回推翻他们的决定,已经失去了公信力。中委会在没有原告、没有被告提出求情下,把会长理事会开除蔡细历的决定改为冻结党藉四年。会长理事会和中委会的几个成员,已三翻四次陪伴翁总到處唱、由南唱到北,也没否定翁总说的总辞;尤其是其中的一位副总会长不管部门工作,被首相责备后还忠诚的跟随在翁总身边,也默认了翁总说的总辞,在马华特大成绩公布后,没有在第一时间马上宣布总辞,现在还有脸争取马华的龙头宝座?

我等不认同潘永强说的“马华特大的不信任案是针对翁诗杰，不是向全体中委投不信任案。”即使马华特大没有包含不信任会长理事会和中委会的议案,但是当第二项议案,使得恢复蔡细历党藉的提案通过后,以最浅白的逻辑学来说,全体会长理事会和中委会已经被投不信任票了!!!如果全体华社和马华的党员连这浅白的逻辑学都不了解,我等要怎么样说呢？

再者,第三项议案,使得恢复蔡细历党职提案无法在马华特大通过,不代表署理总会长之职位已出缺!蔡细历没有表明辞去党职,署理总会长之职位是否已被冻结还必须从马华党章及法律观点仔细的研究呢。

看来,任何一种做法都会引起某一方的不满。请做做好心,为华裔挽回一点尊严好吗？

唯一能重新再结合,调整马华的做法是全面大洗牌!!!

马华特大的结果其实并不很意外,票箱开出来的结果是翁蔡应当一齐走。当翁蔡双方的势力差异不大时,第三股势力就真的能发挥它的效应!

马华特大举行之前,翁总还诬陷说第三股势力是由蔡醫生制造、搞出来的。蔡醫生会愚蠢到制造一个不赞成第三项议案,使得恢复蔡细历党职提案无法通过?真是的,一個充滿爭議、讲谎话不用本钱的人,还想要留下来?

之前，翁总是名信心十足、敢怒敢言、敢做敢当的领袖。他说过的话一定会实践，所以才能得到中央代表的支持、坐上马华的龙头宝座。

在马华特大举行之前,翁总不只一次信心十足的透过媒体放话:如果第一项提案被通过、他不会留恋权位,也会来个总辞;换句话说，他会卸下总会长和部长职位。但是中央代表们不卖他的帐!

马华特大成绩公布后,翁总没有在第一时间马上宣布辞去总会长职位，反而表示交由中委会及会长理事会决定，是一大败笔!!! 会长理事会及中委会的决定大过马华特大的决定?那何必开什么特大?还是幾個被委任官职或会长理事或中委的跳梁小醜不甘心,要逼中央代表们再一次招开特大?老天啊,马华真的会被这些跳梁小醜玩死!!!

翁诗杰走不走，没有人可以强迫他。但是,一个被中央代表们投不信任票的总会长(这可是马华第一位被投不信任票的总会长!之前被投不信任票的是代总会长),还有什么威信可召开会长理事会及中委会?更没有资格去选定接任者!!!既然总会长已经被投不信任票,翁总所挑选的马华总秘书,副总秘书,总财政,中委等等,也都应当总辞。总秘书不是票选的,不赶快辞职已经在道义上说不过去,还要下封口令, 在假谁的虎威啊?

以翁诗杰的霸气、持才傲物、刚愎自用、个人英雄主义的性格,他不可能因为幾個跳梁小醜想要他留任,而坏了他的一世英名,造成国际笑柄!!!!!何不学学李三春,在最高峰时退下,挥一挥手、不带走一片云彩的洒脱?

如果翁老总还不下台,或者不辞去总会长及所有在马华和政府部门所担任的职位而仍然再接受挽留,这表示所有的中央代表都看错了人,我看不如拿一块豆腐撞死算了!!!其他的会长理事会和中委会也支持错了人,拿面线上吊算了!!!

不过，多数人深信,以翁诗杰的性格，他是一定会辞去所有的职位，包括党职和部长官职。

我等再次強調翁总已经没有资格去选定接任者了!!!

领袖可来可去, 上台靠机会,下台靠智慧。

A SHOCKING BLOW ON BOTH? NO, NOT AT ALL!!!

The Central Representatives (CR) of MCA from all over the country had made their WISEST DECISION at 10.00 a.m. on 10.10.2009 (do you know that the Double Ten to some Chinese has special meaning? Or is this the OMEN which was not realized by the people holding authority in MCA? If they were to know the true meaning of Double Ten, would they still choose this date?):

BOTH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUT FROM HOLDING POWER!

Is the outcome really astonishing and shocking? NO, NOT AT ALL!

When both OTK and CSL had almost equal number of supporters, each about 40% of the CR’s support, the remaining CR play vital and paramount importance now! Any influential person or persons grasping the TRUST AND CONFIDENCE of the remaining CR will be able to have both OTK and CSL ousted during the EGM. They could have just easily joined CSL’s team secretly to support the First Motion and then joined OTK’s team to go against the Third Motion, and that’s the real outcome.

The Central Committee of MCA is urged to have a meeting as soon as possible to discuss matters pertaining to the outcomes of the EGM. A question natural superposes one’s mind:

WHO IS TO CHAIR THE MEETING?

According to MCA’s Constitution, the Secretary General seems to be the Third Man in Authority in the party. As this man is also appointed by the President of the party who had been casted VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE in the EGM, he is in NO position whatsoever to chair the meeting! (From this case, one sees that the MCA President SHOULD NOT be given too much power! If the secretary General and treasurer are not appointed by the President, such a difficult plight and odd situation WOULD NOT occur now!!!) If he is a gentleman, he, the Treasurer and a few other CCs appointed by the President SHOULD quit the posts immediately. If NOT, where is their dignity???

Since the three top figures of the party ARE NOT LEGIBLE (this is ethics unless they want to be despised publicly and internationally) and CANNOT function now, then by Rule of Law, the Vice President with the highest votes last year during the MCA Election SHOULD be the one to chair the meeting, that is Kang from Perak.

Many people are speculating that the MCA president OTK will not relinquish the party and government posts. OTK is a very determined and disciplined man, that’s why he CAN”T TOLERATE AND CAN’T FORGIVE CSL’s immoral act, even though last year the party CR had forgiven CSL and had given him a second chance to serve the party! A man like him no matter how, MUST KEEP THE GOLDEN WORDS UTTERED BY HIM: THAT’S IF THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IS CASTED AGAINST HIM, HE WILL QUIT, TOGETHER WITH THE CC APPOINTED BY HIM !!!

THE WHOLE WORLD IS LOOKING AT HIM NOW, WHETHER HE WANTS TO BE A MAN OF PRINCIPLE, A REAL GENTLEMAN, OR A COWARD!

衣、食、住、行是人生四大最重要的事。

“民以食為天”更是人们经常挂在嘴旁的口頭襌。在我国,打工一族已经感受到很大的生活压力, 尤其是“吃” 的这方面; 一碟云吞面在吉隆坡已叫价 RM 5.00, 其他的更不必说了。我们试看一看处于一水之割的新加坡, 在“吃” 的方面又怎样呢？

这是我的早餐,新币80仙而已。咖啡新币80仙,而月饼是朋友送的,免费(一笑)。

这广告是不是很误导? 我还以为白斩鸡飯比烧鸡飯更贵呢？哈哈!

这份早餐新币二元80仙, 二元新币的海南白斩鸡飯的飯是多到我吃不完。(近来因上了年纪,已较少吃飯。飯是碳水化合物, 包含太过多糖、淀粉,在人身体内部容易变化成为糖类。)

价格是不是很公道?

在红山广场的一个素食摊位,不是初一十五都这么多人排队等待!

总而言之,一个人如果不嫌吃,在新加坡赚,在新加坡吃,他是不会感受到“吃”这方面的生活压力!

MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL IN SINGAPORE

The Mid-Autumn Festival is popularly known as the Moon Festival. It is more of a harvest festival celebrated by Chinese (known as Zhongqiu Jie, 中秋節), Japanese (known as Tsukimi), Koreans (known as Chuseok), and Vietnamese (known as Tết Trung Thu), dated more than 3000 years ago due to the moon worship in China during the Shang Dynasty. It was initially called Zhongqiu Jie (literally "Mid-Autumn Festival") in the Zhou Dynasty. In Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, it is also at times referred to as the Lantern Festival or the Mooncake Festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is the date that parallels the autumn and spring Equinoxes of the solar calendar, when the moon is supposed to be at its fullest and roundest, and hence brightest. This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 3 October, 2009, which is a Saturday, making it more likely to have lots of people engaged in the celebration.

The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties. Lanterns seem to be inevitable items used in the decorations to ‘heat-up’ the festive mood. There are interesting stories of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Among them are the:

2. Chang'e and the Hare (Jade Rabbit)

3. Zhu Yuanzhang’s Overthrow of Mongolian Rule

Mid-Autumn Festival celebration has become a universal annual commemoration. Currently, more people are putting greater significance in the history of China in which Zhu Yuanzhang had defeated the Mongolians to form the Ming Dynasty. Subsequently, giving mooncakes to relatives and friends had been developed as an essential part and culture in celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival.

I happened to be in Singapore during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Subsequently, I had the opportunities to snap some photographs of the decorations of Mid-Autumn Festival in certain areas (especially the Chinatown) in Singapore for you to compare the differences in the decorations.

Lin, the salesgirl, told me she applied to put up a stall at the flyover in front of People's Park through the webpage and paid a sum of SGD 70 for two days (3 - 4 Oct 2009).
