By looking at the present situation of MCA, a true Malaysian, whether one belongs to Chinese ethnicity or not, inevitably will get agonized and inflamed by the recent actions of the Presidential Council (PC) and Central Committee (CC) members! Lots of inappropriate appointments of the party leaders to hold ministry posts and party portfolios, and more discordant and incongruent acts and moves have resulted in great mockery!
If one were to hope that the present MCA leaders had learnt a lesson from the EGM held on 10 October, 2009, one will have his heart shattered! More and more actions discrepant to the public have been committed by the MCA leaders especially the younger ones who are too eager to fight their way up by using unbecoming and indecorous tactics.
We had urged the whole PC & CC to have block resignation in our post ANOTHER EGM? OH MY GOD!!! dated THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2009, and many other MCA leaders, commentators and bloggers have the same opinion! The CC lead by LTL said they could settle the MCA crisis, but at the same time, the CC had their own plan.
During the CC meeting held on 15.10.2009, the CC forced OTK to set a date to resign, but he refused. Instead, he asked for a block resignation of the whole CC, obviously he was turned down! The CC members especially the younger and the non-performing ones were scared to be ousted if there is another party election of the new CC.
Later when OTK had apparently patched up with CSL, the whole CC got worried as the terms and conditions of the reunion was not discussed openly and endorsed in any CC meeting. LTL, in no position whatsoever, held several secret meetings with some of the CC members (we are interested to know: Why the Disciplinary Board Members kept quiet about this issue? Are they 'SLEEPING'?). The final result is expected: some of the CC members had asked to have another EGM to decide whether there should be a block resignation of the CC to give way to party election. What the hell are these CC members, especially the young, egoistic and over ambitious leaders doing? The answer is trivial. They are scared OTK will snatch away their positions and power!!!!
OTK did mention during the CC meeting held on 15 October, 2009 that there were some hidden agenda in sacking CSL. All Malaysians have the right to know:
1. Was CSL that ‘bad’ to the extent that he should be sacked by the PC which had taken the advice put forth by the Disciplinary Board?
2. Why OTK NEVER try to find ways and means to have certain ‘communication’ with CSL earlier?
3. Was OTK being ‘poisoned’ by his close comrades that CSL’s political career MUST be terminated? If so, who are these persons?
4. Did LTL and other PC members show great support to OTK during the PC and CC meetings?
MCA leaders, especially the younger ones, are you NOT ashamed by looking at the picture above? If you did not agree with what OTK said: BLOCK RESIGNATION IF THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE CASTED AGAINST OTK WAS PASSED, THEN YOU SHOULDN’T BE THERE IN THE PICTURE. PLEASE DON’T THINK THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY SMART PEOPLE AROUND !!!
It’s high time for OTK and LTL with his two strong supporters WKS & CMF to speak the truth now! Let all Malaysians be the judgers!
We feel that it is a great waste of money and time to have another EGM. Let’s have the block resignation of the CC of not only MCA, but the MCA Youth and Women too, as there are tremors in both wings now!
Those who had constantly poisoned OTK to go against CSL MUST be OUSTED in the next MCA party election too. We, Malaysians, CANNOT have this type of leaders holding any posts in the ministry level!!! ALL MCA CR PLEASE WAKE UP, CHOOSE CAPABLE PEOPLE, NOT JUST ONLY THE YOUNG LEADERS WHO ARE TOO POWER CRAZY AND INCOMPETIBLE WITH OTHER BARISAN NASIONAL LEADERS. TOO MANY YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED MCA LEADERS WILL RESULT IN WHAT WE SEE TODAY. THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GAIN RESPECT IN THE CABINET AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BARGAIN FOR CHINESE COMMUNITY!!!
